Air scrubber giveaway Mesa AZ: not open and not taking entries

The free air-scrubber installation giveaway is not currently listed among JB Water & Air's specials, and it is not taking entries. The previous version of this page announced it without complete official rules. The page stays online so older links still work; it is not an entry form and does not mean a prize is available.

If you see the giveaway mentioned elsewhere, call JB Water & Air at (480) 969-3193 to ask what is current. Do not assume that an older page, advertisement, or social post remains valid.

The specials JB is running now are listed on the current specials page. None of them is an air scrubber giveaway.

What official rules for any air-scrubber giveaway should name: the sponsor, opening and closing dates with time zone, eligibility and geographic limits, a no-purchase entry method, the entry limit, the exact prize or a bounded equivalent and its approximate retail value, HVAC compatibility requirements, the installation scope and exclusions, how the winner is selected, notified and verified, odds language, privacy and publicity terms, tax responsibility, the alternate-winner process, and who fulfills the prize.

“Air scrubber” must be defined

Air scrubber is a broad term used for devices that may rely on different filtration, electrical, ionizing, ultraviolet, oxidation, or combined processes. Official rules and any installation proposal should identify the exact equipment or clearly explain how an equivalent would be selected.

The documentation should also state electrical requirements, placement, HVAC compatibility, replacement components, cleaning, expected service, warranty, and any relevant emissions or byproduct information. Product claims should come from current documentation for the exact model, not from a generic description of the category.

Installation is not automatically compatible with every home

A duct-mounted device has to work with the existing HVAC system. Airflow, filter arrangement, equipment access, electrical supply, controls, duct condition, and manufacturer limitations may affect whether and how it can be installed. A promotion should explain what happens when the winning property needs additional work or cannot support the described prize.

The Pure Air guide explains mechanical filtration, electronic devices, UV equipment, air scrubbers, source control, and the questions to ask before adding equipment. The main HVAC service page should be used first when the system has an unresolved cooling, electrical, or airflow problem.

No medical result should be promised

An air-cleaning device should not be advertised as curing allergies, preventing asthma, eliminating infection risk, or making a home medically safe. Indoor air concerns can involve sources, ventilation, moisture, particles, combustion, and occupant health; one add-on device cannot establish every condition.

If testing is proposed, use the water and air test page to confirm what is measured and the limitations of the method. People with health concerns should seek appropriately qualified medical guidance.

How to evaluate future official rules

Before entering, verify that:

  1. the page is published by the named sponsor;
  2. the entry period is still open;
  3. eligibility and service-area requirements are clear;
  4. no purchase is required if that is how the promotion is structured;
  5. the prize and installation assumptions are specific;
  6. personal-information use is explained;
  7. winner contact and verification do not require a fee, gift card, password, or financial credentials; and
  8. an alternate-winner and fulfillment process is stated.

A like, share, comment, or unsolicited message is not proof that someone has won.

Verified company information

JB Water & Air holds Arizona air-conditioning license ROC #341937, classification CR-39, and has served the East Valley since 1981. It warrants its own labor on HVAC work it performs for two years and returns to make failed work right at no cost; the guarantee excludes normal wear, manufacturer defects, and damage from outside causes, and the equipment itself carries separate manufacturer terms. These facts do not mean that a giveaway, prize value, or health result is being offered.

This page is an educational archive only. For the specials JB is running now, see the current specials page, or call (480) 969-3193 to ask whether an air scrubber suits your HVAC system.
